Why can’t one read the news anymore without being bombarded with ads, pop ups & relentless subscription requests?
If I’ve signed up for a free account, don’t put the rest of the article behind a paywall minutes later. I miss the simpler times when you could just… read.
Technology gave us access to newspapers from around the world, only to put most articles worth reading behind a paywall.
As if there weren’t already enough reasons to hate capitalism. Now it’s making reading exhausting too.
