I see a lot of companies trying to do "sensible" AI implementation & while some of it may, in fact, look like it should have from the beginning, I don't think they realize that unless they built & trained their own model, they're still tied to the bubble, which is tied to OpenAI & if they go down (as it increasingly looks like), your little local thing will almost certainly go down, too...
Both the economy & tech ecosystem of AI is incredibly brittle & I don't think people know.
