Patriarchy: A Trauma Story
I lived in one of the posh South Delhi neighborhood growing up. One December morning, I was walking to a friend’s house to revise for an exam. 10 mins walk. There was a park after almost every block. A man called out from inside the park, in English, asking if I could help him. I asked, With what? He exposed himself & said, 'With this'. I was 16.
Majority of Indian women have different versions of similar public space trauma stories. That's why I am an angry feminist.
