Dinner conversation with our daughter who is headed into her sophomore year of high school goes something like this:
Daughter shows me a pair of sneakers for school and I tell her that I think they're ugly. She shows them to Derek for his opinion.
Derek - " Do you remember the last pair of $100 sneakers I bought you, that you never wore in 6th grade because you couldn't bend them? The air forces or something?"
Daughter, laughing - "WAIT, you really think that's the last pair of $100 sneakers you bought me?!???!"
Me - nearly spits my drink across the table laughing so hard 🤣🤦🏼♀️🤣🤦🏼♀️🤣🤦🏼♀️🤣🤦🏼♀️🤣🤦🏼♀️
