Yesterday I tracked the new AF1 which used a callsign that included "47" and a SAM identified aircraft landing in England after flying from Turkey.
Shortly after seeing this, the old AF1 with another SAM flight popped up and landed in the same location.
So yes, I agree that a 3rd plane was used for transport, at least to England.
