Solar Storm Update: We now have a train of three solar storms heading for Earth, plus influences from two big pockets of fast solar wind from coronal holes.
The first CME is expected early on the 9th with the 2nd arriving later on the 9th or early 10th, and the third probably arriving later on the 10th.
The pockets of fast solar wind will start to hit us on the 12th through to the 14th, after which conditions should calm down.
Geomagnetic conditions are expected to reach G2-G3 levels. Aurora photographers should get ready for nearly a full week of potential activity!
The sun may not have given up after this as occasional radio blackouts are still being caused by flare activity.
