Kizami 刻み — day one of the real build.
Started the morning about to spend €369 on FPGA dev boards. Ended it having worked out I didn't need them: timecode accuracy comes from the oscillator, not the logic. A €2.46 temperature-compensated RTC does the job. BOM dropped from €93 to €23 a unit.
Then wrote the SMPTE LTC encoder. ltcdump decodes it clean — 248 frames, continuous, no drops.
