Just the ideological Fediverse cybersecurity experts who don't want people using AI to find exploits that hostile actors most certainly will be doing. Believing somehow using AI as a tertiary tool adding to and not subtracting from our existing framework and holistic approach to code standards, code review and testing is the same as media based generative AI trained on stolen work product and art work when no different than AI playing chess or go and operating in a pre-existing logic based system no different than learning a language.

They make the same gate keeping arguments you'd expect to find over the birth of the internet and giving away knowledge by using/scanning the written word, following on from what the printing press did too.

They think throwing their vitriolic metaphorical sabots at us is morally justified.

I mean, they literally want the power left in corporate and state hands and to walk around like this pretending by not using it we have something keeping us secure while the gaping holes are there for those using it for exploits expose and use them.
