"Had (junk food) for breakfast, was tired", "stubbed my toe", "forgot meds" and all sorts of things that aging brings.
She's comfortable talking about it with us because she offered the same refuge when we were younger - "Broke the vase gifted by grandmother? Are you okay? Then it's fine."
