Having a single app handle keys is good because more eyes can focus on ensuring they are honest and secure, but that only works if it really has those eyeballs and really is the safest way to handle keys, otherwise there's no difference between giving your keys to amber or giving them to primal/amethyst/damus/whoever else you trust (especially if you're only using one app as your daily driver).
