Not sure what you’re talking about with gyroscopes. Gyroscopic processing perfectly measures the rotation of the earth and procession changes with latitude consistent with a globe.
Aircraft, ships, and missiles use inertial navigation systems (INS) which rely on gyroscopes to maintain orientation without external reference. They must account for Earth’s rotation and curvature to remain accurate
