In 2015 I bought a Nikon Coolpix S33 camera for a trip to Fiji for A$149. I got it because it was waterproof. I only used it for that trip. I recently remembered I had it and wondered how it would compare to my phone, so I've started carrying it on my walks after work. The conclusion is that it is terrible unless there is a lot of light, but it does have better zoom than my phone.
