It turns out crypto communities don't really lack places to share and tell their stories. What they need is a “home” within the ecosystem they actually support.
Unfortunately, most communities still depend on global platforms like X, Telegram, Discord, and Reddit.
BCH is one of the most interesting and strongest examples. Its community has multiple spaces built around its own ecosystem, such as BCHNostr and read.cash, giving people places to share, discuss, and build their culture beyond third-party platforms.
In my view, this is an important part of crypto's future:
Not just building a financial ecosystem, but building a social ecosystem around it.
