I don't disagree with the utility so much as the cost. I fear for the health of my family back in Virginia and Tennessee who live close enough to likely be suffering from the notoriously dirty energy and water consumption of the data centres that power them. Local models would make this less of an issue, but I fear these data centres will still be necessary for training new models.
