They are not interested in social stuff.
They don't like a English-only environment.
Group chats have still poor ux.

Possible solutions:
- Language filtered relays, like the ones you did, to bootstrap local communities.
- A decent multiplatform DM/groups client.

It would also help have a suggested language tag on notes and a filler feature in clients; I really don't understand why this obvious and cheap solutions has been so oposed.
