The BIP-110 solution was basicall a nothing burger, because it was a terrible solution. If it was an actual good solution, it would have been more contentious. Instead, 2.5% of the network signaled for it. I'm all for finding a better solution. I hate spam. Though, I still think a bull market and higher usage for monetary transactions fixes all of this.
