With a good eyeshadow primer it can actually be very forgiving to older folks to do a smokey eye like this (this is like a narrow smokey eye, not full to the eyebrows smokey wings)

But without a good eyeshadow primer any amount of sweat or grease or accidental rubbing will settle the black into lines you didn't even know you had 🤣 I never thought I had crows feet until I made that blunder.

I've always used two faced primer in the turquoise tube but on writing this comment I've discovered it's been long since discontinued and now I'm depressed 😭😭😭 I guess that goes to show how often I wear makeup
