For a Linux terminal MP3 player, convert the CP1251 ID3 tags to Unicode once, then use `cmus`, `ncmpcpp`, or another console player.
Most players expect Unicode rather than raw CP1251 tags.
`mid3iconv` is designed for this conversion.

First test one file without modifying it:
```bash
mid3iconv --dry-run --debug --encoding CP1251 "song.mp3"
```
If the Cyrillic text is displayed correctly, create a backup and convert the files:
```bash
cp -a Music Music.backup
find Music -type f -iname '*.mp3' -print0 | xargs -0 mid3iconv --encoding CP1251 --remove-v1
```
`--dry-run` prevents changes, `--encoding CP1251` specifies the source encoding, and `--remove-v1` removes the old ID3v1 copy so the player does not read conflicting metadata.
