If a man is not chasing a goal, the energy does not disappear. It looks for a hole.
Social media. Games. Friends.
Whatever is close and cheap. That is not rest. That is a leak.
A man usually has too much energy. If he does not put it somewhere, he spends it on things that take him apart. He does not know another way to get rid of it. So he dumps it.
The healthy version is simple. Sport. Business. A high mark on the wall. He aims. He hits it. The same force that would have eaten his evenings now builds something that pays him back.
That is the split. There are men. And there are people who are male.
What is strange is this: the ones with a goal get bored of the fake games. The feed is dull. The videos are dull. They already have a game. Life is the game — to want something and go get it.
Until there is a goal, nothing is in its place. After there is a goal, everything is.
