In short, when you zoom in and encounter any single person enforcing this crap, you’ll almost certainly find an ordinary obedient person who is, “just doing their job”
Great evil can be carried out by commonplace people who never pause to consider what they are actually doing.
I think I’m going to a vlog review of this book because it keeps coming up and I keep talking about it. It’s extremely relevant to the behaviors we consistently saw during covid.
