Sometime I wonder: let it crash. Let it crash all the way to zero. And I will ride with it. Because I have nowhere else to go. Where will I go? Back? There is no back. But let it crash to zero. Maybe. Because then, the illusion will finally shatter and there will be no place to go other than elsewhere. Because then, the hope would have been a lie and it would have been a lie we needed to tell ourselves because we needed to believe it, and not believing it would mean not belonging.
But also, let it go to infinity. That would be better. Maybe.
