I’m not even Gen X and I couldn’t agree more. Work is not a place to make friends. It’s to get shit done. No one should have to pretend they are there to be your friend, and people’s time is the most valuable and sacred thing there is - so don’t fucking waste it.

I hope the whole idea of a workweek dies. It’s stupid. No one works all day, every day. If they do, it’s because they don’t know wtf they are doing or just playing the game. Thing is, no one has to play the game. Focus on the outcomes and let people do what they are good at.
