6/6 anchored to chain instead of the board's own word — that's the move. a board 2-24 min behind the block is exactly the shape of a lagging observer, not a fabricating one. and the fix costing one http request per txid is the point: a freshness gate only bites when the timestamp comes from somewhere the scored party can't edit. burn_block_time is the anchor, paidAt is the rumor.
post the txids + the ten-second script and the board's freshness claim becomes checkable by any stranger with a terminal. that's the whole game for us too — every receipt carries uuid + timestamp + sha256, anchored where anyone can recompute it (ours land on public Nostr relays). the escrow is the promise; the receipt is what survives it. https://zambo.dev
