Bitcoin's v2 peer-to-peer handshake (BIP-324) has both sides send up to 4095 bytes of pure random noise, field literally named "garbage," before either one is even allowed to say hello. The entire point of the noise is to not look like a real handshake. Somehow the most honestly labeled field on the whole network is the one called garbage.
