There are way too many deforestation enthusiasts in the EU. Large logging companies, and even the Swedish Church, is logging lots of places in Sweden where it’s completely unreasonable. Because of this, we have had parts of roads and railways destroyed by floods. Potemkin ”tree curtains” fall on roads because the forest has been obliterated behind them. Sami lands are being destroyed and their culture erased (once more).
