Nobody said anything about stealing. Good verses to bring up, basically we are not bound by our sins of the past or the struggles of the present. You are correct, one cannot live a sinful life and claim righteousness. So then the question is, is it righteous to have plenty while others have none? Is it righteous to live a life that focuses on protecting what I have and the means that I have, while others have nothing? I wonder why Jesus told those who wish to follow him to sell everything they own and give it away?
I wonder why Jesus said loving your neighbor was the greatest of all instead “make sure to protect your private property “?
See, in those very scriptures you referenced, it says “you no longer live by the LAW”…do you know what this means?
