Considering the subject matter of most of my posts and the number of followers I have, I've never expect zappage. (I'm here to share my thoughts and find interesting people.)
I've never accumulated anything close to one dollar's worth of sats *total* over the couple years I've shown a lightning address.
However, since Nosmero -- but *especially* Imwald/Jumble & Amethyst now showing XMR addresses -- it took little time for me to make a couple bucks' worth of XMR.
It's still understandably infrequent for me, but yes, Monero bros and sisses leave reasonable tips because they see XMR as money, and they're typically not as inspired by greed.
When we give or receive tips with XMR, nothing even says who tipped. So it is genuine appreciation and generosity. I appreciate that.
