This started with a quick sketch for what the client described as a “simple oval” reflection pool.
Client feedback: “Not football-shaped. I want it rounded at the ends like a circle.”
Me: “Ah… so an oblong!”
Client: “Yes, an oval.” 🤭
We’ve converged. Here’s the latest rendering of the concept. Let me know what you think and if Nostr is interested in following along.

By the way I’ve never designed nor built a reflection pond before. This will go to an actual engineer if the client wants me to build it. Don’t tell anyone but most of the projects I take on I have never attempted before. 🤫

Thinking through a design is meditative. Rough sketch of something a client saw on a trip to Morocco and now wants to build in their garden (a simple gazing pond) which is basically just a concrete basin.

Before I start AutoCAD, 3D rendering, AI it’s my thoughts, paper, pencil and ruler. This is just me working it out in my head, it will evolve.

I have an aversion to building an AI agent.
