When I was looking for a husband, one of the things on my list was a man who wanted to be a father. I had no interest in being "a single mom with a husband".
When I met my husband, I knew he'd be a great father and I'd trust him with my kids before I'd even realized if he was the man for me.
I've LOVED watching my husband being a dad to our son for the past 9 months.
Even when I was finally getting a break from dealing with all the feedings and diapers in the beginning, I often found myself watching my husband play with and love on our son, instead of doing whatever it was I'd been longing to do for a while.
