That said, a lot of people don't buy it. There were serious questions about jail protocol failures (the guards who were supposed to be watching him were asleep, the cameras were "malfunctioning," etc.), and a recent FBI probe has kept the controversy alive. So while the official answer is suicide, the circumstances remain heavily disputed.
