That is pretty close to how I’m thinking about it. Availability is a big part of the decision for me. In Türkiye, getting some hardware wallets is much harder than others, so waiting indefinitely for the “perfect” device does not make much sense either. And I completely agree about the seed. Whatever device I choose, my plan is to keep the seed offline and never type it into a computer or phone. Buying directly from the manufacturer would be ideal too, although that part can be a little more complicated from Türkiye.
