I think the timing of the UASF is problematic, but a bigger problem is the partial ban on op_if.

Which limits? I fully agree with the first six items in the spec. I only have a problem with the seventh (which is the ban on op_if) and the activation method (I think it is a bad idea to set a countdown when most node runners are still apathetic about the problem which bip110 tries to address)
