Shared delusion. It's a difficult subject. At some point the delusion is shared so prevelantly, that in practice it is reality. Dollars are made of paper, in reality the one with 100 on it will buy 100x more than one with a 1 on it. But alas they are both the same piece of paper. Same applies to ordinals, baseball cards, NFTs etc.
