Yesterday I flipped a coin. I produced my 23 words offline. The 24th word is the problem. I don’t have a device to help me find it. So I used the Ian Coleman tool. I followed all the suggestions. Downloaded the HTML from the GIT. Checked the signature. Turned off the internet. Opened it in a browser. Entered my entropy and got my 24 words. “Centuries to break”. But. I just can’t bring myself to use it. I had to use a tool that I downloaded and ran on a computer that has and will be connected to the internet. Unfortunately there is not many easy options to get the 24th word. You could try and guess it but that could be frustrating and long. The tool is meant to be trusted. It’s probably very safe. But it’s still downloaded onto a device that is connected to the internet. I hope there are easier ways developed.
