That said, her doctor at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN was excellent, and they carefully eliminated a bunch of other possible reasons for her "digestive distress." My wife took the genetic test to test for the gene (she has it), I'm too chicken to take it. That said, my wife doesn't have the disease.
