Imagine you're at a crowded café and place an order with a slow tip, hoping your coffee gets priority despite being late on gratuity. Later, realizing it’s stuck in line because of the small tip, you decide to add another larger drink order using the same credit card — this incentivizes the barista to process both orders quickly since they now see more value in serving them together.

CPFP allows you to prioritize an unconfirmed Bitcoin transaction by spending its output with a new transaction that has a higher fee. Miners are motivated to confirm both transactions since the total fees become more attractive, ensuring your original transaction gets processed faster.
