Any suggestions for super cheap web hosting that isn't in America? I've seen a few European companies mentioned, but they are all super expensive compared to the cheap and cheerful one I currently use (US$2.95/Month with free SSL on a shared server somewhere in Texas). It is really only a hobby site and a mail server, I don't need bells, or even whistles. I give away scripts and stuff that I write on it, so if people can't deal with a slow-arse server, then that's a them problem.
I have to register the domain in Australia because it's a .au site, if there's a cheapo Aus host that would be great, but it seems like economies of scale work against that. Prepared to pay a little more, but not orders of magnitude more.
