I am so excited. A friend of a friend who is a contractor has agreed to paint the rest of our house.
Neither of us can hang by our toenails on a super high ladder to paint the second story. The north face of our house is actually two and a half because we are built into the hill.
Tomorrow will be a work day here for one of the grandkids too. So things are getting done.
I feel good about our chances of being ready for winter.
This afternoon I'll bake peanut butter cookies and brownies to give away tomorrow.
I told my husband since he is feeling so much better I plan to clean carpets this weekend. He immediately said he was feeling peekish. Even Summer gave him the side eye.
I was so ready for some good happenings to come our way so this is a nice change.
