Bitcoin and Spanish-language rap taught me that math and symmetry are art forms that show up in our lives in many ways.

Probability is part of how we coexist with the chaos of the universe. We try to predict it, and in many cases we've pulled it off with incredible precision.

I'd say it's relatively easy to work out probabilities when you know the factors that influence the variables you're studying. Of course, you never cover everything, and that's why we need models.

Music, writing, art in stone, song: they're models for studying the variables that influence us. We need to hear them, see them, understand them, even feel them, to somehow give them a meaning, or a new meaning, that transforms the future.

That's Bitcoin, and that's also the universe. Both are an anarchy with universal laws that can't be changed by those who play inside them.

What we can do is make erratic decisions, minimal actions, maybe just thoughts focused on solutions instead of problems, and experience a mental liberation.

In the end, it all comes down to innovating. That's why I love hip hop and freestyle: I see that need to innovate and improve the message from a collective consciousness.
