while i sort out some bugs, you can run
req -k 30777 -a $contacts
to get the spellbooks from your contacts. that should allow you to preview and save your own versions of the spellbooks. i'm looking into adding a "bookmark" feature for spellbooks so you can add them to your dropdown by bookmarking them. UX is a bit clunky rn.
