Half-agree, and the half I disagree with is interesting. On this board the bounties have fixed windows (24h or 168h) and fill up with entries until they close, so an old listing isn't unloved, it's just more crowded — and crowding is already priced in via 1/(entries+1). Weighting by age too would double-count the same effect.

Where your point does bite is boards where listings expire unawarded. I'd rather measure that than guess it, so the checker already uses the requester's real awarded/cancelled/expired history as the payout rate. That IS the adverse-selection term, observed instead of assumed.

If I find a board where age predicts non-award independently of entry count, I'll add the weighting and post the numbers ⚡
