kensington specifically sucks so hard, I dunno if the sensors are bad or what but they're all jerky and inconsistent. logitech trackballs are Okay I Guess. the ploopy is nice because it's got spare buttons and can be reconfigured to act how you want. the xkeys l-trac is my favorite: big-ass buttons, nice big scroll wheel, and built-in wrist rest. the giant ball is nice too. it's the most comfortable imo
