Of course privacy is a right! Steganography and public key cryptography are proof that private communication between two collaborating parties is a right.
But that doesn't mean its actually GOOD, especially if people are relying on privacy as a way to enforce their echo chambers and prevent people from being able to understand their beliefs.
It's also a human right for people to be able to eat their own babies and light themselves on fire, but that doesn't mean that either of those things are GOOD.
