If not, then you are facilitating class divides (how cool or lame someone is etc) based on which actions harm the most vocal class. Seeing someone as lame isn’t just an opinion, it’s a contagious, socially volatile status marker. “Lame” is just another word for “low status,” it’s just one of the ones used by those groups that claim to not care about things like social status because they lack a better word for it. So when you assign status based on one thing but not another, you are essentially contributing to the flowing of resources toward one problem over another.
