The thing about looking good is that it is catastrophically overrated.
As we grow up we are supposed to figure this out.
If you can't do your job you will get fired no matter how good you look. Looking good, presenting yourself in a good way is a door opener.
That is to say it will help you get a foot in. But after that it is obsolete. If you can't perform, then your out again.
But these people only care about their looks so they have no quality at all.
