Casio SK series samplers (and all gear really) have some tricks you won't find in a manual. You discover them by thinking "what if?" and then attempting to follow your curiosity.
Fed a synth in and grabbed a snippet on each of the 4 sample locations in this example..no sound editing available on the casio..what you record for .8 seconds is what you get.
