Spicy take: If trans rights was an actual negotiation, I MIGHT agree to make some concessions on trans sports and trans surgeries on minors for the other side accepting other aspects of trans rights like accepting social and hormone transition equality for all. But it's not give and take negotiations. Liberals conceding trans sports or trans surgeries for minors doesn't actually gain us anything at all. Give in on those fights, and then they demand the end of any social or medical transition for kids. Give in on the and they demand the end of trans people being able to use the bathrooms anywhere. Give in on that, and they demand the end of any federal funding for medical transition for everyone. Give in on that and they demand the end of medical transition from ANY doctor or hospital that receives federal funding. Give in on that and they demand elimination of changing legal IDs to match someone's gender. On and on and on until it's literally a crime to exist anywhere while trans.
This isn't hyperbole. This is actually happening in multiple states. Making a concession on trans sports isn't gaining any concessions from the opposition. They loudly and eagerly clamor for the genocide of trans people. They won't stop until they accomplish it. So stop conceding, fucking liberals. Fight tooth and nail for every aspect of trans rights, because you're gaining nothing in making concessions.
