Where this falls over is a lack of a person UUID. I’d like to always be linked to my website, for example, and that URL should be constant, so it’s easy to know if it’s “Podnews’s James Cridland” vs “the James Cridland who was a student in Bristol and nearly ran away with a cute date of the other James Cridland after she made the wrong person a Facebook friend”.

The trouble is that people won’t always link to my website as the unique identifier. Or they might link to Podnews. Or to my Wikipedia page.

And even a website address isn’t guaranteed. https://james.cridland.net is different to https://james.cridland.net/ (at least in text).

While we don’t have a unique identifier - open, not owned by anyone - this tag has real difficulties because it’s going to be hard to separate Tom Holland (rest is history) from Tom Holland (Spider-Man), especially if they appear in the same podcast (they have).
