Went on a nice hike about 2 hrs outside Phoenix. Was going down a steep trail and at a cross back U turn I caught a toe and went flying face first down hill. My phone in hand flew out bounced and started down the embankment towards a small cliff. I braked hard for a meter or two using my entire body. Stopped. Told my fam I was ok (not true) and did a human chain with them to get my phone. Finished the hike down/up but my feet, knees and chest are messed up. In bed popping ibuprofen. 😅
