well, I looked at addy.io's Privacy Policy and they say they may hand over user data upon legal request which is exactly the same as what Proton did earlier, I'm not really a fan of giving my data to another company which does exactly that
Mail alternatives I haven't really looked at yet, I'll probably look for a FOSS one, I can't trust proprietary ones
For password manager I always used KeePassXC (and also KeePassDX when I had an Android phone), never touched any online password manager, because I don't like to upload that sensitive stuff to the cloud
